Great Durability
Concrete is a very hard substance which won't warp, buckle, become loose, or rust like other floor coverings. A stained concrete floor is inflammable, has excellent water resistance, and the finish is resistant to fading from ultraviolet light. Fundamentally, unless someone attempts to hurt it with a power tool or a hammer, the stain and concrete will stay as it is.
Energy Saving
Thermal mass is when a substance has the ability to consume, store, and gradually release coolness and warmth. Concrete has a high thermal mass rating which cannot be taken advantage of fully if the floor has a covering, such as carpet. It is projected that a stained concrete floor saves you 15% to 26% yearly on your heating bill (depending on the amount of concrete flooring you have on the premises).
Low
Maintenance
Usually a mop is all you need to keep the floor looking good. Unlike hardwood floors, stained concrete doesn't have to have wax removed and then reapplied, which is a time consuming process. All it takes is a quick, and rare, buffing, which usually takes 10 to 15 minutes for 1,500 square feet.
